Who we are
Cuna del Mar is a pioneering impact investment fund transforming the global aquaculture industry through regenerative, equitable, and science-backed innovation. For over 14 years, we have invested in early- and growth-stage companies that are reshaping how the world produces protein, protects marine ecosystems, and sustains coastal communities. Our mission is rooted in a bold belief: aquaculture, when done right, can become one of the most powerful forces for ocean health and food security.
Our portfolio includes ventures in Panama, Mexico, Hawaii, and North America, spanning biotechnology, genetics, ocean technology, and sustainable seafood production. We don’t just deploy capital—we build ecosystems. Our work bridges climate innovation, inclusive economies, and systemic regeneration.
