Purpose of the position
Drive business growth in Mexico by managing existing operations, expanding commercial opportunities, and executing both sales and marketing initiatives within the animal health sector.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow an existing business while identifying new opportunities to expand market presence
Develop new business by identifying, approaching, and closing opportunities with new clients and partners
Build, manage, and expand distributor networks, ensuring alignment, enablement, and commercial performance
Develop and maintain relationships with large key manufacturers and distributors (e.g., DSM-Firmenich, Phibro, Kemin, Alltech, Adisseo, Novus and more)
Own the full commercial cycle, including pipeline management, negotiations, and achievement of revenue targets
Execute marketing initiatives locally, ensuring proper implementation and alignment with market needs
Translate technical product features into clear commercial value propositions for customers
Conduct continuous market mapping and generate actionable insights on opportunities, competitors, and trends
Coordinate and support field trials with farms, producers, or research institutions to validate product performance
Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with customers, distributors, and technical stakeholders
Operate across multiple regions in Mexico, adapting approach to regional dynamics
Collaborate with international teams on reporting, planning, and execution
Represent the organization in industry events, trade shows, and technical forums
Requirements and competencies to work with us
Education
Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, or related fields
Experience
5+ years in animal health, animal nutrition, or related industries
Experience in commercial roles (sales/business development)
Experience working with distributors and manufacturers.
Experience managing existing businesses and developing new opportunities
Knowledge and skills
Knowledge of Poultry Nutrition, Swine Nutrition, Feed Additives, or Animal Nutrition industries.
Cattle is a plus

Ability to manage complex sales processes and relationships
English: Proficient
