Location and Work Mode
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Mexico City (CDMX). The role requires in-office and field presence, with a hybrid modality available for half of the week.
Who we are
Reurbano is one of Mexico City's most recognized adaptive reuse developers, with 15 years of creating vibrant, enduring urban spaces through design excellence, operational innovation, and a focus on people.
We believe activated, high-trust communities create extraordinary value — socially, civically, and financially. We also believe we're living through a transformation in how organizations operate. We're now launching a new real estate development platform to build adaptive reuse and mixed-use, mixed-income, intergenerational communities — pairing deep community investment with an AI-first data and operating model.
This role will be part of a founding team that reimagines development — from what we build, to how we build, to with whom we build.
Our impact
30+ completed projects across Mexico City (2008 to present), representing 400+ housing units and 15,000+ m² developed.
Award-winning portfolio recognized internationally: Bienal de Venecia, Bienal de Quito, FAD Prize (Spain and Portugal), XV Bienal de Arquitectura Mexicana, and ArchDaily Best Buildings 2015.
Featured in leading media including Metropolis, Monocle, Log, NYTimes, ArchDaily, El Financiero, and AD México.
∼60,000 Instagram followers and a growing community of residents, collaborators, and urban advocates — built on credibility, not ad spend.
Purpose of the Position
Act as a force-multiplier for the founders, driving execution across the highest-priority initiatives and ensuring early projects move forward with strong coordination so the company moves faster, with fewer dropped balls, clearer decisions, and less founder bandwidth consumed by follow-up and orchestration.
Key Responsibilities
Drive founder priorities to completion: take ambiguous, high-priority initiatives from idea to done with minimal oversight.
Own interim project management for initial projects: maintain execution rhythm, dependencies, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination.
Build and run a lightweight execution operating system: weekly priorities, action tracking, decision capture, and cadence that reduces follow-up debt.
Coordinate complex cross-functional workstreams: align legal, finance, design, vendors, and internal owners with real timelines and clear accountability.
Evaluate options and make recommendations: run structured vendor evaluations and produce clear memos that enable decisive action.
Support hiring execution when needed: own process mechanics so founders focus on high-signal interactions.
Leverage AI and tools to increase throughput: use automation and structured workflows to accelerate work without sacrificing accuracy.
