If you are motivated by creating the marketing and growth engine that converts a powerful brand and vision into major demand for a new model of community housing, this role is for you

Selection process developed by matteria
Location and Work Mode
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Mexico City (CDMX). The role requires in-office and field presence, with a hybrid modality available for half of the week.
Who we are
Reurbano is one of Mexico City's most recognized adaptive reuse developers, with 15 years of creating vibrant, enduring urban spaces through design excellence, operational innovation, and a focus on people.
We believe activated, high-trust communities create extraordinary value — socially, civically, and financially. We also believe we're living through a transformation in how organizations operate. We're now launching a new real estate development platform to build adaptive reuse and mixed-use, mixed-income, intergenerational communities — pairing deep community investment with an AI-first data and operating model.
This role will be part of a founding team that reimagines development — from what we build, to how we build, to with whom we build.
Our impact
30+ completed projects across Mexico City (2008 to present), representing 400+ housing units and 15,000+ m² developed.
Award-winning portfolio recognized internationally: Bienal de Venecia, Bienal de Quito, FAD Prize (Spain and Portugal), XV Bienal de Arquitectura Mexicana, and ArchDaily Best Buildings 2015.
Featured in leading media including Metropolis, Monocle, Log, NYTimes, ArchDaily, El Financiero, and AD México.
∼60,000 Instagram followers and a growing community of residents, collaborators, and urban advocates — built on credibility, not ad spend.
Purpose of the Position
This person is the first dedicated marketing and growth hire inside a platform that already has real assets: an internationally recognized brand, a seasoned development team, deep neighborhood credibility, and a following of ∼60,000 built organically over 15 years. The mandate is to translate that foundation into a functioning growth engine: clear audiences, compelling narrative, measurable demand, and the operational infrastructure to convert interest into deposits and contracts
This is not a support function. It is a core driver of how Reurbano's model scales.
Key Responsibilities
Define the growth strategy and funnel: clarify audiences, offers, journey, and conversion events (signup, tour, event, reservation readiness).
Build the CRM and lifecycle system: set up segmentation, pipelines, follow-ups, and cadence across email and WhatsApp.
Own website and conversion surfaces: ship landing pages, site updates, and analytics basics with measurable conversion improvements.
Run content cadence end-to-end: own calendar, publish consistently, and protect voice and quality while scaling production.
Operationalize tours and events: create repeatable formats that build trust and convert demand into action.
Drive partnerships and referrals: build distribution with aligned partners that consistently produce qualified leads.
Install measurement and reporting: track lead quality, stage conversion, and channel performance with a lightweight dashboard.
Requirements and competences to work with us
Education
No specific degree required. Relevant backgrounds include Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related fields.
What matters most is demonstrated ability to build and run a growth function from scratch.
Experience
4 to 8 years in marketing, growth, or demand generation, with at least part of that experience in an early-stage or founder-led environment.
Proven ability to build a growth function from zero: funnel definition, CRM setup, content cadence, and conversion infrastructure.
Hands-on experience across multiple channels: content, social, email, partnerships, events, and lifecycle communications.
Track record of driving measurable conversion outcomes, not just brand awareness or vanity metrics.
Experience owning or materially contributing to website and landing page performance, with basic analytics instrumentation.
Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and content management systems (Attio, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Webflow, or similar).
Real estate development, hospitality, proptech, membership brand, or community-led model experience is a strong plus.
Knowledge and Skills
Builder-executor drive: someone who moves from zero to a functioning engine — a doer and a hustler by instinct. Proof of doing is more important than proof of having done this exact thing before.
Excellent messaging and content craft: strong narrative development and high-quality writing across posts, emails, landing pages, and collateral.
Conversion-minded creativity: turns narrative into clear offers, journeys, and asks that deepen commitment over time.
Cross-channel execution and operational rigor: ships consistently across content, social, partnerships, events, lifecycle, and measurement.
AI and tool fluency with a genuine point of view: concrete examples of using AI to increase throughput and quality, and a clear perspective on how AI is reshaping marketing operations. This is not optional.
Fully bilingual: Spanish and English, written and spoken.
Our team profile
High agency + stamina: this is a demanding environment; you're comfortable with ambiguity, take ownership, and move fast.
Empowerment over hierarchy: we operate with empowered decision-making; roles change as we learn, and we optimize for outcomes, not titles.
Mission alignment: you're deeply motivated by building healthier, more connected places.
Adaptability and curiosity: you learn new tools and workflows quickly, experiment thoughtfully, and use AI to increase clarity, speed, and quality.
Low ego: you're willing to do whatever the work requires and you treat people with kindness and respect while holding a high bar.
Key interests for working with us
Building a growth engine from scratch in a category that genuinely matters: community-led urban development is not a conventional real estate pitch, and the marketing challenge here is as creative as it is strategic.
The craft of storytelling and conversion: finding the right words, formats, and channels to turn a compelling mission into real demand and real commitment.
Working at the intersection of brand, community, and commercial outcomes, where good marketing directly enables the organization's mission.
Being a visible, trusted partner to founders in a fast-moving environment where marketing is not a support function but a core driver of growth.
Building something durable: systems, playbooks, and a brand foundation that scales beyond the first project.
Reasons to join our team
What makes this opportunity rare: this is a first marketing hire with real assets already in place — not a blank slate. You'll work alongside three founders with deep track records: exits, significant real estate and technology credentials, and a known reputation for pioneering different ways of working. Reurbano already has ~60,000 followers, an internationally recognized brand, and a portfolio of iconic projects across CDMX. The work is to build on that foundation, not to establish it from nothing.
Competitive salary aligned to market.
Permanent, full-time contract.
Hybrid work environment — in office half the week, optional the other half.
Performance-based bonus tied to community and operational milestones.
Benefits in accordance with Mexican labor law (IMSS, INFONAVIT, aguinaldo, PTU, vacaciones).
Equipment and tools provided. Direct exposure to founders from day one.
